I spent about 8 years hunting for fungi in the Nationaal Park Zuid Kennemerland mainly and loving it, I tried to find as many species as I could and hope for my wish list species. A couple of years back sort of got bored with it when I realised I would rather be on the Zuipier watching for migrating birds. If I see nice fungi I still take piccie's.
This gallery unkike the others is in alphabetical order (scientific name) so it was easier to circumnavigate.
Even though I am not as interested as I was I would like people to see how weird, wonderful and beautiful fungi can be - but don't be surprised if I have some of the ID's wrong even though I did my best.
